Knit.org.nz is a group of knitting enthusiasts.

*Spearheaded by Amy Hewgill, a knitter, crocheter, spinner, and small-business owner, the organisation promotes the activity, creativity, and art of knitting in New Zealand.

*Anne Mortimer, a knitter and felter has recently volunteered to help with Christchurch  Knit in Public Day 2009.
